I would be proud to experience the once in a life time opportunity to reach the Earth’s orbit and live the same sensations and challenges as did some space pioneers such as Yuri Gagrin, the first human to orbit aboard Vostok 1 on April 12, 1961.
Imagine being the first “ticket winner” to travel to space and simultaneously share the adventure with all the lecturers of Metro.
I believe that the evolution of space travel will allow us to go beyond the Earth’s orbit. Our quest in the universe should not be limited to us reaching the moon and setting foot on it.
We must invest in all entities such as SXC or Virgin Galatic to help them pursue there innovative ideas on how to efficiently go beyond our beloved planet.
Consider my candidature. I understand the risks and will devote my every capability to succeed in being an astronaut.
Laika, may your final heart beat in orbit aboard Sputnik 2 on November 3, 1957 be for ever heard by all who cross the Earth’s atmosphere.
